Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
Owle keeps your tasks, focus sessions, notes, events and money records on your device. We don't run a server that stores your content, and you don't need an account to use the app.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter in Owle (tasks, focus history, notes, calendar events, wallets and transactions, goals) is stored in an encrypted database on your device. Backups you create are encrypted as well.
What we collect
Nothing you type into Owle is sent to us. The app has no sign-up, no account and no advertising trackers, and we don't sell data.
Permissions
Owle doesn't ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location or system calendar. It asks to send notifications only when you turn on a reminder or a timer alert.
Exports and backups
When you export a CSV file or create a backup, you choose where it's saved. Owle never uploads these files on its own.
Purchases
If you buy an upgrade inside the app, Apple or Google processes the payment under their own terms. Owle never receives your card details.
Sync between devices
Owle works on one device at a time today. If we add optional sync, it will stay off until you turn it on, and we'll update this policy before it ships.
This website
owle.app has no accounts, cookies or analytics. It's hosted on Cloudflare and loads fonts from Google Fonts; both receive your IP address and browser details when serving the page.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Backup and CSV files you saved elsewhere stay there until you delete them.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any change on this page and update the date at the top.
